Sally Beauty Supply, a retailer of professional beauty supplies, will open a store in Albany´s Heritge Mall in the spring.

The store will be at the mall entrance next to Target. It joins the more than 65 retailers in the 408,000-square-foot mall, which is owned and operated by Steadfast Commercial Properties.

Sally Beauty Supply features more than 6,000 products for hair, skin and nails, including brand names such as L´Oreal Technique, Clairol Professional, American Classics, Conair Professional, Ion appliances and liquids, Palladio cosmetics and Solk Elements.

Nail-care products featured will be FingerPaints and Orly nail enamels, and skin treatment lines include Correctionist.

The company opened in 1972 and has grown from only a few original stores to more than 2,300 in the United States and Canada.  There are an additional 600 stores in eight other countries.   Democrat-Herald
